New Batman Villian, Bane

You may be aware that Anne Hathaway was recently cast as Selina Kyle in Christopher Nolan’s new Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises. Also it was announced that Tom Hardy will be playing the character Bane. This relates back to the 1997’s Batman & Robin.

Here are some things that you probably don’t know about the other new Batman villain, Bane. Bane is quite intelligent, He got a pretty raw deal by the judicial system as well as the prison system, and he defeated Batman!

If you are into the comics – In the Batman comic book “Knightfall” that began in 1993, Bane having escaped prison, traveled to Gotham City trying to defeat Batman. Here Bane earns his reputation as being intelligent by discovering Batman’s secret identity. The plot thickens…..
